Vegan Scones

What you will need:


  • 400 g flour
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 pk vanilla sugar
  • 4 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 110 g vegetable margarine or butter
  • 200 ml oat or soy milk
  • a little oat or soy milk for brushing



Step 1- The dough

  • Combine 400 g flour, 3 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, 1 pk vanilla sugar, 4 tbsp sugar, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 110 g margarine and 200 ml oat milk one in a large bowl and knead into a smooth dough.

Step 2- Shape and coat

  • Preheat the oven to 200°C or at 180°C.
  • Place the dough on a floured work surface and spread it with your hands to a thickness of about 2 cm.
  • Cut out circles with a suitable container. Knead the remaining dough again, roll it out and cut out circles until there is no dough left.
  • Now place the blanks on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush with a little oat milk.

Step 3- Off to the oven

  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 15-18 minutes. 
  • Let cool and then serve with jam.
